vHost Changes - March 10, 2012

Virtual Hosts (vHosts) are ways to hide your cloaked hostname on the network. Everyone sees this instead of your real hostname when it is activated. vHosts can be requested from HostServ by using /hs request the.vhost.you.want. vHosts typically have periods between each word. As of today, vHosts may contain any number of words as long as it doesn't go over the maximum character limit (40 characters). If it does, it will be automatically rejected by the services.

To join us in our protest, visit http://americancensorship.org/.

As an alternative to using the Mibbit client, users can also use the QWebIRC Client. This client, while staying simple, still gives a strong IRC experience in a web browser.
